A little dating humor for you

I wish!

Sometimes i wish there were a bar in which you wore wrist bands…. one color for single and looking, one color for taken, one color for just looking for a hookup, etc. Sort of like the cup game at a party, but in a bar! When you want to meet someone, it takes some bravery to go talk to the person in general, then maybe you talk to them for a good ten minutes before bringing up if they are single or not. Then to just realize that they are taken or worse-married. UGH! I’d just like to know upfront that my time isn’t worth it, even a little bit! hahaha!

For instance, I work in a large office building with many departments and there’s one guy who works across the hallway in a locked portion of the building. I don’t have access to where he works, i don’t know his name or anyone he works with either! Yet, he came and talked to me one time and now every time our eyes meet down the hall, he makes sure to wave, smile and say “hi” or “how are you doing?”. I would like to know if its worth my time and effort or if he is just being nice….

So after years of people asking…

i have finally started this blog. My friends have always got the chance to laugh at my ridiculous dates and online encounters. Now everyone can too.

I want to start out by saying that i think we date in a COMPLETELY different way than our parents did. Its odd these days… completely odd. I am no stranger to online dating, but the more i do it, the more i think about how unnatural and weird it actually is. The internet gives birth to weird things like catfishing (which i am very glad hasn’t happened to me), guys with no filter, and of course, porn…. readily accessible free porn changed the dating game, in my eyes. For instance, both my sorority sister and i have been contacted by the same guy on a dating site whose first contact with us read “dom or sub?”. REALLY? apparently Hello is dead, lets just go to sex. How about the guy who asked me this week if i wanted a cum shot instead of saying hello. I cant help but rip these guys a new asshole. SCUM! 

Please treat women with respect!

Note: this blog isn’t supposed to be a man hating thing, its just sometimes you wonder, what are they thinking? Are they really getting girls this way?
